Effective September 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of RenterVault ("the app"), published by App Developments. Installing or using the app means you accept them.
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement, which applies to this app in addition to these terms. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer or rent the app.
The free version documents up to 15 items with one photo each. RenterVault Pro removes those limits and adds the document vault, claim reports, backups and CSV export.
All purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are at Apple's discretion under their policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
Values you enter are your own estimates. The app does not appraise property, does not determine replacement cost, and does not decide what your policy covers. Whether a claim is accepted, and for how much, is entirely a matter between you and your insurer. Always confirm your coverage directly with them.
The app stores everything locally and sends nothing to us, which means we hold no copy of your inventory. If your Mac is lost, damaged, wiped or stolen, and you have no backup, the data is gone. Export backups regularly and keep them somewhere separate from the device.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, App Developments is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost data, denied or reduced insurance claims, or property loss, arising from your use of the app. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms may be updated; the current version always appears on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
